Let’s get right into it! We are Asteria Press and we want to bring you great books and a great time.

What we publish

Asteria Press publishes heart warming fantasy fiction. Our aim is to bring the world more wholesome, hug-in-a-book, magical, mystical novels. Asteria Press’s first and central list features light adult fantasy that brings a smile to your face. That doesn’t mean our books are without peril. We love suspense, danger and heartbreak, and all that comes with it.

The connecting theme we want to shine through all of our books is the rush of a feel-good escape. Thrilling comfort. Warm excitement. This is what we look for in our books.

We are proudly women-led and seek to champion authors with exciting ideas and creative ways of thinking.

Redefining fantasy

We love fantasy as it is. If we didn’t we wouldn’t have nearly so much passion as to set up a house to publish it! But what excites us is fantasy that does things a little differently. We want to push the limit of genre expectations, play around with tropes and venture into other genres.

We want novels that find comfort in the ground breaking.

We want to redefine fantasy because the expectations modern publishing place on the genre is limiting. We want to redefine fantasy because brilliant authors aren’t getting the platform they deserve. We want to redefine fantasy because creativity should be stretched to its limits. Creativity is the centre of what we look for in our authors. We want to be the home to the daring creatives.

We might read alone, but we enjoy reading together. We are all about creating a vivid community of buzzing readers where we can discuss all things books.
